|Dance Laines has three regular guest teachers Armin Wild, Christine Hughes and Judy Breen. See below for their personal details.|
from Switzerland is a dancer trained at The Royal Ballet School. He danced
as a soloist in Germany and Switzerland. He started teaching in 1971 in
Zurich where he prepared young dancers for entry into full time training.
He also pioneered adult ballet classes in a structured form. Armin then
went to Saltsburg as a ballet master and in later years became ballet
master in Manila. Armin has worked with all the major stars of our time
and has an enormous amount of experience and knowledge of teaching. Today
he is President of the Swiss Ballet Teachers Organisation.
Armin gives master classes at Dance Laines to our mayor level and adult schools. His next course is planned for 2004.
|Christine Hughes was trained at The Royal Ballet School and became a principal dancer with London Festival Ballet (now English National Ballet). She has guested with various companies around the world. Today Christine is a staff teacher with The British Ballet Organization. She is a major examiner, technical adviser and Foreign Ambassador to Kuwait, Jordan and Cypress. Christine gives master classes for our major level students.||
|Judy Breen is a professional classical ballet teacher, with 24 years experience overseas
and in the UK. Her intensive teacher training in the Russian Vaganova tradition, which
included studying at the Vaganova Choreographic Institute in St. Petersburg, took place at the Sun Hwa Performing Arts Centre, official school for the Universal Ballet Company
Seoul, Korea. In 1984, she was invited to become Ballet Mistress of Universal Ballet and then went on to become the director of the School for the next 10 years, placing many
graduates into the Kirov Academy, Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet School. She returned to the UK in 1996 and today is an independent freelance teacher, offering
Adult Ballet, Professional Class and private coaching lessons throughout Sussex.
